Saburomaru Distillery used its in-house developed cast pot still, “ZENON,” to produce new make spirit in 2021.
Compared with traditional copper pot stills, this spirit shows a distinctly different style—softer, cleaner, and exceptionally pure, with no unwanted off-flavors.
This one-of-a-kind spirit was slowly matured over many years in bourbon casks.
The result is a whisky with a unique Islay-style peaty aroma, balanced by the rich and mellow sweetness from the bourbon barrels.
From a wide selection of casks, NAA Retailing (our company) has exclusively chosen a “special cask,” and bottled it at natural cask strength, without any dilution.
