New Japanese style pot still whisky inspired by Irish whiskey
We distil this whisky from both malted and un-malted barley (at our Hioki Distillery) in stainless steel pot stills under vacuum pressure.
The whisky is then matured at our( Kanosuke Distillery) warehouse in both new American white oak casks and ex-Bourbon barrels
and then bottled at a higher ABV, to offer an enriched version of our core expression.
ABV: 61%
TASTING NOTE
Rich, intense flavour, like a thick slice of toast topped with vanilla ice cream and marmalade.
COLOUR: Deep amber
AROMA: Apricot, Plum jam, Vanilla, Buttered toast
PALATE: Rich vanilla, Salted caramel, Marmalade
FINISH: Long rich with sweetness and touch of spice
