Regulations Restricting Liquids (International Flights)

Carrying any type of liquid exceeding 100 ml (g) on an international flight is prohibited.
Note that gels and sprays, etc. are also included in these restrictions.

Pic liquid capacity of no more than 1 liter

Restricted liquids will be confiscated and disposed of at security screening checkpoints. These liquids should be packed in your check-in luggage. Liquids may be taken on board if prepared in the following way.

Liquids in a 100 ml (g) containers must be placed in a transparent, plastic bags with a zipper with a capacity of no more than 1 liter or less with room to spare.

※ Only one plastic bag with a zipper per person is permitted.
As a general guide, the plastic bag should be no larger than 20 x 20 centimeters.
Passengers must provide the plastic bag themselves.

Passengers without connecting flights

Regardless of the above, liquids purchased at this duty-free shop after security inspection can be carried on board.


Passengers with connecting flights

Even if you have an international/domestic connection at an overseas airport, you can bring liquid items of 100ml (g) or more to your destination airport by enclosing them in STEBs (Security Tamper Evident Bags) without abandoning your purchases.

Liquids to be inspected

Individual containers must not exceed 100 ml (g) and must be placed inside a transparent, resealable plastic pouch no larger than 1 liter in capacity.

Liquids to be treated as exceptions

Pharmaceuticals are not restricted to 100 ml (g) in volume or need to be place in a plastic pouch under 1 liter in capacity but must be declared to security officers.
